Seewer and Cairoli did it again.
Round 12: GP of Portugal - Agueda - 02/07/17 Only a few days separated the Portugal GP from the GP of Lombardia host in Italy last week and the Agueda track, welcomed the protagonists of the 2017 World Motocross World Championship after three years of absence from the Iberian country. In the MX2, Jeremy Seewer (Team Suzuki World MX2) on board its Suzuki RMZ 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system, achieved its fourth victory in a GP during 2017 season, with a second place in race 1 and winning in the final moto. Behind him, with the same score gained, Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) aboard of the KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena. The rider from Latvia, always remains the leader of overall champioship followed by Jeremy Seewer, behind him (-38 points). In the MXGP class, same "story" of the Ottobiano race with the amazing KTM duo Cairoli-Herlings to battle for the the final victory. Even in Portugal, the winner is, Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) aboard of the KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena, who won his 82nd race in carreer. Jeffrey Herlings (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) also riding on a KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena had to settle for second place on the podium, even though with same points of the winner. At the end of the day podium, Arminas Jasikonis (Team Suzuki World MXGP) riding the Suzuki RMZ 450 equipped with the M40 data acquisition system. The Lithuanian won for the first time in his career, the pole position on Saturday and conquered the GP's podium.
